This is a little comedy sketch based on my friend's continuous need to curse at me. It is all in good spirits though, hence the end product. It was mostly improvisation of the script I wrote. All editing was done using Sony Vegas Pro 10. The camera I used was definitely not the best quality but it is all part of the learning process.

Margot and the Dolls

I created this film with two friends at Rhodes University. Some of my duties while creating the film included editing, filming, sound editing, costume design and filling in as an extra. Post production software used for this film was Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 and Soundbooth.

Finding Atman?

 

I created this film after joining a mixed media art group formed by the Drama Department and the Arts Department and Rhodes university. It wasn't accepted for a showing but I still enjoyed making it. The theme given was an apocalypse with the only remaining survivors found in Grahamstown. I chose to place a literal apocalypse up against a self apocalypse which is more abstract. In both situations the build up towards the apocalypse goes unnoticed and the result of implies a hopeless future. I used Sony Vegas Pro 10 to created this film. It was a solo project.

PSA -- Break the Silence

A Public Service Announcement. This was an assignment for my drama method as part of a PGCE (post graduate certificate in education) course. We were asked to make a PSA video using Windows Movie Maker  as preparation for teaching a "how to course" in using Windows Movie Maker. Since I took part in the 1in9 silent protest I decided to make a PSA using the pictures and information gathered on the day.
